Islands Pool Service

Pool cleaning & maintenance — Palo Alto, California

Islands Pool Service is a pool cleaning, maintenance, and repair business in Palo Alto, California. Their website needed to do three jobs: explain the services clearly, look credible on a phone, and make requesting a quote effortless.

What the business needed

Pool care is a trust purchase — customers are letting someone work on their property week after week. The site had to establish that trust quickly, present four distinct service lines without overwhelming a visitor, and convert interest into a phone call or a quote request with as little friction as possible.

What was built

A focused marketing site organized around the services themselves. Each service line lives in an expandable panel: the page stays scannable, and the full detail — what's included in weekly servicing, what a draining and startup involves — is one tap away. Quote requests go through a structured dialog that collects name, contact details, the service needed, and context, so the business can respond usefully on the first reply. For customers who would rather just call, the phone action stays visible throughout.

Design decisions

  • Services live in expandable sections, so the page stays scannable while full detail remains one tap away
  • The quote request is a structured dialog, not a bare email link — the business receives enough context to respond usefully on the first reply
  • Calls to action lead with phoning, matching how pool customers actually reach out
